Beautiful photos Steph, love the flowers too.

So glad you like them! Thanks for stopping by!

So pretty! I know how hard it is to catch the hummers on film. But a treasure for the effort. thanks for sharing.

Thank you Joan!

Hummingbirds are fascinating!  Thanks for showing the pictures Steph! ~Melinda

They are hard to take pics of because they are so fast - sometimes the picture just comes out a blur.

Hummingbirds are so fascinating.  It amazes me.  I feed them and plant for them.  I just moved a bunch of crocosmia to my country place, and planted monarda there.  I've seen hummingbirds there, so they will find what they like.  Need to come up with other plants to feed them.

Oh for what it's worth, this site lists some attractants.  I also planted Asclepias and have some of the others.  Next year.....

Thanks for the link Sentient! I am going to it now. Here are some websites that talk about plants for Hummingbirds. I have Trumpet Vine and I see them often in the my yard here.
I always love seeing them.

Im very impressed that you were able to photograph hummingbirds.  My own attempts at photos are out of focus and blurred.  You are much better at it!
