I recently read this Obama quote, and really liked what he had to say. Yes, he is a religious man, but he seems to respect our rights as atheists. I read in another place where he strongly supports the separation between 'church and state'. Three cheers for keeping religion out of politics.

I do not call myself a Democrat but I do like Obama. Its hard the way our election system is to hear from any other party (Independents). Its pretty much strictly Democrat and Republican

Do you think Nexus needs a group for democrats or american liberals? We have a group for socialism and left anarchy as well as a group for libertarians (the other free thinkers) but do you think a group for more moderate or american liberals would be of any use?

I wonder how religious Obama is. I don't believe he is as religious as he lets on but I could be wrong.
