Where are you in LA, Chera, if you don't mind my asking? I live in Austin, Texas and I go to Sulphur as often as I can to visit an old friend from school. I love New Orleans, too.

I agree with you, ProgRockGirl. They think they are just too cool for school. Can't they see where the Republicans would take us?

I think people on the left who are unsupportive of Obama are a little pretentious...like that would be too mainstream.

: ) I agree 100%. No one can please everyone all the time. I'm so happy to talk to other supporters. I live in Louisiana and feel like I'm the only Democrat around! I just don't see how people don't understand the mess he was given when elected. I guess they wanted him to snap his fingers and fix everything all at once. Even after he was quoted as saying that he couldn't fix it all in one term. Hell, even if he had the Republicans helping him instead of blocking anything he tries to do, it wouldn't all be fixed in 4 yrs.

I'm still an Obama girl!  It's taken his whole first term to clean up after all the damage Bush did to this country.  We will never approve of EVERYthing a leader does, but overall I think he's been a great president and am looking forward to another four years.

I support President Obama, Chera, and I have already joined my local Organizing for America group here in Austin in working for his re-election. President Obama has disappointed me on occasion, but all the Republican alternatives are unspeakably bad when it comes to allowing non-believers to live their lives peaceably. (I count reproductive freedom as a core value that all the Republican leadership is willing and ready to trample, including that phony libertarian Ron Paul.)

I joined this group because I thought it supported Obama. However it looks like there is nothing but people slamming his administration on here. Is there anyone on here that is going to vote for him in the November election or has this site been overtaken by Republicans and people who only think the way the media tells them to think? Just wondering...

Where is Barack Obama? And why doesn't he at least LOOK like he's doing something about the economy? Bristol Palin could beat him today!

There's mountains of proof of that!
