@Chuck in TN I watch both regularly, and they are of the same genre but there are notable differences. Yes, they both involve FBI agents studying freakish anomalies, both with male and female leads as "partners" of sorts - but the cases they do and the mythology to both series are quite different. Fringe doesn't deal with supernatural/religious questions at all, where X-Files involved religion all the time. The "freakish" events in Fringe are completely science-based and are always explained where X-Files left you wondering (pretty much 99% of the time lol). So in many ways Fringe is more sci-fi and X-Files is more fantasy.

Hello all. Is it my imagination, or is that show Fringe a really crappy knock-off of The X-Files?
PS - If this subject has already been discussed, I apologize.

I'm not so sure I was alpha anything even before. Persephone keeps me in line and Calla enables me.

Don't worry, you can be the alpha male if you want to. I'm not on the market for the time being :D

That's OK Arnab. Much quicker than the second coming of Christ. Wouldn't want to be hanging by the balls waiting for that to happen.
