Hey everybody! Just announcing that I have two books out there, Spirit Snatcher and Alpha in the Omega. Check them out, make wonderful gifts.

Hi all. I am a small time publisher in the UK (Ginger Prince Publications) with a few books under my belt (The Little Book of Unholy Questions and Free Will? etc). I would love to help a freethinker get published, well, publish them. If you are an aspiring freethinking writer or know one in the UK, then let me know. Shoot me a PM and we can talk. I can distribute in UK, Europe, US, Aus, heck most places, with printing in UK, US and Aus. Check out my blog at a tippling philosopher.

Cheers

Guys, just a reminder that my latest book, The Little Book of Unholy Questions, is out on all formats (paperback and kindle etc) http://www.amazon.com/Little-Book-Unholy-Questions/dp/0956694829/re...

It has received some great reviews so far. Please check it out.

Thanks guys.

Anyone else here worked on (or completed) a screenplay? I could use a bit of clarification with the three-act structure - and yes, I do have the book... LOL.

Wanderer, what are you asking, exactly?

Anybody here actually want to do a cooperative effort with me? I have a theory of ethics that I am working on, and I'd just like some (i.e. a lot) of help codifying it, organizing it, and getting feedback and such. Anyone game?

Interesting problem you have there Ry. Now that it's been more than two months I wonder if you have worked your way out of it. I would suggest taking all the back stories you've made and put them away. They may just complicate the process of you developing your story. Then when you have come up with a story starting from a concept I am sure you will be able to fit the back stories you have come up with. But I think it's easier in that order.

Backstory is good. Characters are better. Characters in conflict are best. That is my personal experience as far as finding the plot in the great mass of scribbled fragments I tend to generate each week.

Choose two of your characters and write a paragraph describing why they don't like to be in the same room as one another. It might suggest a unifying thread to run through the world you have already so carefully constructed.
