Whether you're a professional, a student, an amateur, an enthusiast, whatever! Lots of atheists love science. Might as well have a group for it!

Feel free to nerd out, link articles, talk about your favorite field of research, whatever!

I've been super busy with school this semester -- no time for Atheist Nexus, sadly!!
If anyone who's around here a lot wants me to toss them moderation privileges to run this group or anything, just send me (Sara) a message! Thanks!

Removed ability to send mass messages to everyone in the group. At 1000+ members, that seems like asking for spam.

Offer still open if anyone active in the group wants moderation privileges, but it appears everything has been going smoothly with all kinds of great discussions without moderation. Fantastic! :)

Hi everyone! I'm an atheist from Israel and a biology undergrad. Where can I find a posse for biogeeks?

Hi ppl! I am not pursuing a science degree, nor do I plan on ever doing so but I am a knowledge whore. I figure that going a day without knowing something new is a waste.

Hey all! I'm an Electrical Engineering student who's going to grad school to teach high school physics. I'm a huge Pharyngula and Bad Astronomy fan, too.

Hi all!
I've ALWAYS loved science. I still do, and always will. Right now, I am on the path to be a physician (don't know what yet, but neurology has peaked my interest).

Duh, me drive big truck! When me not drive big truck, me like to read pretty books, by people like Dawkins, Lee M. Silver, Sean Carroll, Steve Jones, Michael Shermer, Mario Livio, Susan Blackmore, L.L. Cavalli-Sforza, Martin Gardner, and many, many more. But now, me buy pretty machining equipment and re-learning to carve metal into intricate machines and tools.
Cheers! /widgetlaboratory/images/textemo/6.png"/">

Howdy all. I'm a 30 y.o B.a of applied science (biology) graduate from Australia. Been living in Tokyo last 6 years, but returning home in 3 weeks. Wanna jump back into science work. wish me luck!
