Been wishing lately I was a well-off as Bill Gates so I could donate several $Billion to NASA.

The evidence mounts that our values have been replaced by moneyed interests. There will be a day of reckoning. Nature doesn't take kindly to being ignored.

American foreign policy, starting with the CIA's overthrow in 1953 of an elected government in Iran, shames me more.

America's military adventurism costs us more than everything NASA has done, and costs its victims even more.

What I see here is a bunch of space advocacy groups getting together to point out how flipping stupid it is to be cutting science spending out of the federal budget (which seems to be the ultimate goal). This isn't NASA asking for money, it's people who think exploring our solar system is one of the most important things we can do, and think the federal government should keep funding such exploration.

The Escapist should escape to some fact checking before they publish articles.
