It turns out that nanoscale wires conduct just like the conventional ones. This means that Moore's law probably isn't about to hit a brick wall any time soon. If we survive long enough, it's going to be an incredible world.

One thought is that with small, powerful and cheap devices, privacy could be out the window. Devices could be used to dust the landscape, monitoring everything. A totalitarian's dream.
