Bear DNA used to help date Chauvet Cave Art (37-29 kya)

 

I am always amazed every time I discover that the artistic urge to create in culture has been around.  This evidence pushes it back quite a bit further.

For some reason it was cave paintings that caused me to have the epiphany that there is no god. I guess because they were so old and had no detectable religious meaning.
