DNA data density record by a thousand times.

Sure, data density is great ... but what's the read / write latency time?

I think I'm going to stick with hard drives and flash memory for now!

Yeah I've seen other people asking that same thing over and over, I'd be interested to know that myself.

The article says it could be useful for archival purposes, because dna is very stable.  So you're trading off long-term stability for speed.

It would displease the ID proponents immensely if the two scientists have done better than god himself!
