I also have an Etsy Shop - so far only my photography is available. I plan to add prints and originals of my artwork as well.

Okay, I have a few sites. There's my main site with work past and present, my blog where I chat about projects and other art related stuff, andmy web shop where I sell my sculpture and jewelry designs.

Hello fellow artists who are atheists! I'm a photographer, writer and artist working in mixed media for the most part. I have a few websites, too... http://www.galleriaone.com/, http://www.carol-roper.com (which is the gallery of galleriaone, plus a bit more), and my biz at home, http://www.photomd.net, where I do photo and document restoration. Nice to meet you!

Hi
Having done various other things such as ceramics and painting I now mainly do illustration and visualisations (interspersed with bouts of unemployment like a lot of artistic people)
I mainly do my work digitally at the moment but keep getting the urge to dig out the paints again and do some traditional stuff.
Some of my work is on my site here:

Hello all
I was once an illustrator and recently began to work again.
It had been many years but I have quite enjoyed digging back into it.

I've been drawing (mostly pencil) ever since I could pick up a pencil. I'm not published, nor have I ever done it professionally. I have, however, received numerous compliments over the years. I've been designing T-shirts for our community Theatre for the past six years, and other similar projects. I've chosen to express myself artistically thru local Theatre, and independent films, for the past seven/eight years as an amateur/semi-professional local actor. I absolutely love it!

I am a custom picture framer by day and a very active volunteer with South Bend Civic Theatre. I have also composed poetry and enjoy music (even sing in public, staged or just entertaining those who listen while I walk) I am also on facebook, check me out there as well. You'll discover even more about yours truly.

Does anyone here still make a living off of their art in these bad economic times?

Pope's 'exorcism' caught on film video

Posted by Debra Stevenson on May 21, 2013 at 2:37pm 0 Comments

There is a video of the Pope's 'exorcism' caught on film.  The man isn't demon possessed, there are likely no 'real' demons.  He's just delusional and doesn't want to accept personal responsiblity for his own behavior for his own dysfunctional life.

Do you support 'traditional' marriage, vot now ad

There is an ad that reads ' Do you support 'traditional' marriage? Vote Now"!  .

No, I don't support 'traditional' marriage because there is no such thing. I support heterosexual and same-sex couples marry each other legally , yes.  'Traditional' marriage promoters largely do not believe that heterosexual women are co-equal to their husbands.  Their only purpose in 'traditional' marriage is to sexually satisfy their husbands if they can and raise children and do all…

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/05/21/texas-merry-christmas-bill_n_3312786.html?utm_hp_ref=politics

i've got no problem with everyone saying "merry christmas" on christmas day.  however, they've turned it into an entire holiday season where it lasts a month or more.  in those situations it should be perfectly acceptable to say "happy holidays" or call it a…

My first funeral as an atheist

Posted by Two Cult Survivor on May 21, 2013 at 11:30am 0 Comments

I posted the bulk of this on another thread, but wanted to add some context separately.

I finally confronted my faith and embraced the fact of my atheism late last August, 2012. Days after I revealed my "epiphany" to a few friends who knew me from another message board, my sister died from Lou Gehrig's Disease (which pissed her off because she hated catching a disease from someone she never f---ed).

THAT was my sister, understand? She was a beautiful, life-loving, potty-mouthed…
