Pop science, pop biological sciences, has been experiencing a brain scan MRI craze in the past several years. In certain atheist groups, several MRI trippers have even left older atheist groups to create A+ or atheist universe, because of their pop science inability to distinguish good from bad science, and going along with the propaganda "look my brain scan is "different" ". Anyway... some articles to bear in mind any time someone tries to sell a brain scan study which claims to explain entire segments of social behaviour...

From ethics and art history to social policy experts are embracing neuroscience as the answer to understanding human behaviour. Raymond Tallis rallies the neurosceptics

I now work in a genetic engineering a biopharmaceutical research laboratory, where we diddle with murine DNA daily!  - does that count?

Ruth, where do you find all these wonderful articles and photos? I track them down to the source if I can, and you either have a magnet that draws them to you, or you have computer with super powers, or you have in inquiring mind and seek out very interesting stuff. My days could be filled with reading or looking at your materials! Thanks you, dear friend.

Siberian Tiger Quest. One of the most beautiful and haunting video studies of these disappearing beauties of nature... yet another "tipping point" Homo sapiens is presently crossing.
I don't know if this video is available online anywhere, I didn't find any, but watch on PBS television, keep an eye out for future showings.

The Botany of Desire
Just watching this interesting documentary on PBS, on how plants affect human populations. It contains, among others, a wonderful segment on the common history of Homo sapiens and Cannabis.
