It would seem self evident if someone is on a site called aetheist singles that they are indeed aetheist and maybe even single -my experience of online singles sites is that the second is not necessarily so . I am sure I am like most -here to find some interesting conversation .

@ everyone else; And I'll reitterate and clarify my original comment since that comment WAS kinda harsh and offended such sencetive souls, just as was mention in this lastest schoolyard attempt to dissmiss me, There are a lot of post, threads, subjects on why it's so hard to find an atheist partner, and how intolerant theists are but no dedicated subject/thread on who's availble and searching. It's like a bunch of male sheep huddling saying "where are the female sheep" while they (the females) are standing off to the side waiting to be noticed. Turn around dive in. (there no implied shallowness in this statement, take it as it's written) "If you SEE someone you like here, approach her/him." (I see James did. no fear there. lol&l) All this talk of religion and intolerance, is that what you guys are expecting here? Didn't you join to get away from it? Why bring it with you? I'm not here to stroke anyones ego. and I will continue to share MY opinion as you will do yours. I here to be around like minded open minded free thinkers.

@ James, I'm not impressed by your service accomplishments. Though to clarify, if you read the previous post you and Caroline wrote, and I responded to, you'd see that comment you're so offened by was not directed to you since you did not mention any fear. But I did comment on your comment about testosterone w/a bit of humor. "Wow....do we have any way to calm the testosterone fest?" I'm wondering whose testosterone is really rising besides stephen's?

I understand personal preference but my last relationship ended because of intolerance. Like it or not, that's what your advocating when you discount someone for their beliefs. There are people with brains who are misled in the direction of the tyrannical retardation that is religion. Hell my mom is one of them. I love her to death. My dad is another. They are just set in their ways so, I guess that's a bad example...lol but still. There are misled people.

I am perfectly fine with limiting my choice of partners to non-theists. It's my one and only true deal breaker. We all have them. You may see me with a theist girl, but I assure you it won't be for a real relationship. :shrug:

Yeah I agree. Obviously we will only find atheists here, it just seems that some people here are limiting themselves. I have just recently started talking to someone here that I'm very interested in. She happens to be an atheist (obviously lol) but I wouldn't limit myself to that. Disagreements will happen regardless. A love without arguments is a love without passion if you ask me. So your not avoiding them by only selecting atheist partners. I understand most of us get very annoyed by Theists but remember, most of us where Theists at one point. Some just need a nudge in the right direction...

James you make sense here, sure limiting options when we set our eyes on Atheist partners, we cant fix our eyes on any other (say christian) singles here haha, on the other hand, am not sure we will find any other (say Christian) singles here on Atheist singles except Atheists, the only way to find an Atheist partner, will go for other choices if they were available.

I'm a 2 time combat veteran Mr. Harris. I would appreciate if you would remember that the next time you ask who frightens easily.

On that note....I'll get back to the topic. The only thing I didn't understand b4 the interruption was why everyone seems to be fixated on having an Atheist as a partner. Like I said...I'm not saying it wouldn't be nice or anything but, don't u feel like your limiting your options by doing so?
