No, its a perminent problem.  You see, I clicked on "forgot your password" a lot of times, trying to make the site work.  but I never actually forgot my password, and this screwed the system up.  Also firefox web browser started to sometimes not work at the same time okcupid quit quit working. And okcupid does not even have a phone number and I'm paying for the A-list feature.  Nobody ever wants to take phone calls anymore. Everyone else just wants to do text messaging and e-mail from mobil devices.  My old password will never work and they system will never give me a new one.

Michael - I was able to login last night and this morning. It was probably just a temporary glitch.

Does anyone here use okcupid?  Starting yesterday I am no longer able to log in.  The sight just always says "we are having technical difficulties.  Check back later."  So I keep clicking on "forgot your password" even though I actually did not forget my password.  And I'm an A-list member.  And me and a girl had been corresponding and has send over 50 messages back and fourth since for the last 5 weeks and I have no other way to contact her.

I don't visit the site every five minutes, and there doesn't seem to be any notification when someone accepts a Friend invitation.  By the time I happen to visit my home page and discover that someone is a Friend, I've completely forgotten the reason I wanted to send that person a message in the first place.  Maybe it was a forum comment?  I no longer have any idea.  As I said, it's mildly annoying.
