Well I'm definitely game for a get together. I can't host one, but if anyone else can, I'll be there. I'd even be cool with heading down to a pub.

There's always a lot of talk about having a get together, but it always gets complicated and doesn't seem to get off the ground. Getting together for a few beers might just be simple enough to pull off :)... I would be interested.

James, check out the comments on "page 2" of this group...specifically mine on June 2nd. Otherwise I'm always game. Could try a "discussion topic" on the issue. So far it hasn't been great response from this group, but I'm always hopeful...one day....

Jenna, my husband's from GP originally, he's agnostic. But we are what feels like the only non-religous in my neck of the woods now, We are South East Alberta. Medicine Hat, Brooks area.

Hello fellow atheists! I have joined this site in an attempt to find other rational individuals, such as myself, and to promote a current charity drive that I am trying to get going for the Oklahoma tornado victims. I have managed to get many groups from around my area, including the Beyond Belief Foundation to back me on this endeavor.

There is a video of the Pope's 'exorcism' caught on film. The man isn't demon possessed, there are likely no 'real' demons. He's just delusional and doesn't want to accept personal responsiblity for his own behavior for his own dysfunctional life.

No, I don't support 'traditional' marriage because there is no such thing. I support heterosexual and same-sex couples marry each other legally , yes.
