Ps. I have mellowed some, and started to find things about Red Deer I like.

Like formica, the douchebaggery and herp-derps of Red Deer are only the surface, and there is plenty of good particle board underneath!

(I think that's the first countertop simile I've ever used btw...)

Lori - yeah, the end of episode 4 is a little... Well, it went on a Spinal Tap style freeform jazz odyssey... haha

Pickle,

Just listened to the rest of your podcasts.  I'm finding them very enjoyable.  I don't agree with everything you've said, but most of it definately rang true.  Looking forward to more...

Not sure what the end of epi 4 was all about, tho.  LOL

Yeah, yeah, yeah...  LOL

I really wanted to come to the rapture party, but May long was already booked for a family do.  :(

Check out the site Kormakur. Our last meetup was the "rapture party". Good bunch of people and most are still just getting to know each other. Lori still hasn't shown up to any yet, so I still haven't met her in person, but soon. Right Lori? As I said, we'll be needing someone to take over at some point and I may if I HAVE TO, but I live north of Lacombe and assume most would rather have someone from Red Deer itself. I'm more than willing to have people come to my place, but Red Deer is more central and I find it's harder to get to know people at pubs/bars than at someones house. Maybe we'll see you at the next get together?

*perk* Gatherings? where? when? :)

That's why you really need to show up to one of the Red Deer skeptics get togethers. I know not ALL skeptics are "technically" atheists, but for the most part... And now the ones running the site are moving to Edmonton. They suggested I take it over, so we'll see. If I do, you and others WILL be coming out to our gatherings...I'll make sure of it (^_-).

Of course, for the first 40 years of my life here, I never met another atheist, so you might not be that off base.  ;)

Hey Pickle.  Listened to the rest of epi 1.  A bit negative for my taste.  I'll keep listening, though, because you definately said some stuff I've been saying my whole life...  Like Alberta being Canada's Texas.  LOL  You're too hard on us Red Deerites, though.  We're not all fundy loons.
