Humankind does have some really good ideas at times, unfortunately the current status of the quest for space has been overshadowed by the power brokers desire to make everyone think and believe the same. I guess they figure if we have a population of uneducated masses they will be able to control them better. Maria Antoinette found out how that model ends up. Atheists at least can reach for the stars without a fear of finding truths that interfere with our beliefs.
