You know I used to be for the death penalty. Eye for an eye and all that! It wasn't until I read about a guy who had been in prison for many years only to be found innocent when the real criminal confessed to the crime. I don't know how many innocent people have been put to death but even one is reason enough to do away with such a barbaric punishment. How do you have laws against killing and then do it yourself in the name of justice? That's bullshit on a stick!
