Helloooooooo hungry Atheists!
This page is just a place to share recipes. You can take secret glee at giving out the cookie recipes you won't share with Christian moms at school. You can give your recipes new names to reflect this site. You can come up with special ones just for us, or it can be your Grandma's recipe. You can post unusual recipes like crazy Sci Fi con drinks. Or you can post banana bread, or obviously fake comedian recipes. It's up to you. I want you all to have a good time.

Glad to find this group. I'm a godless foodie who enjoys time in the kitchen and experimenting with food. Ticks me off to hear people thanking god for the food on the plate. Hell, he never even showed up to help peal the potatoes. Why should he get any credit? I'm the one who poured heart and soul - OK, heart - into the meal.

New to A|N and new to the group - just wanted to say hi and introduce myself. I love to cook and love trying new recipes. I particularly enjoy Italian, Greek and other Mediterranean cuisines.

ha ha funny group...and I have a funny story to share!
I teach a cooking class for children (in the bible belt of AL) and last halloween I had a student refuse to eat the deviled eggs we had just made because they didnot want to be posessed by Satan! I wanted to shake the mother and say please stop brainwashing this child!!!

These gingerbread cookies have incredibly sticky dough and come out as hard as rocks!! However, they have an incredible flavor and my mom has fits if I don't bake them. The icing is good. What I like about these cantankerous cookies: They are real gingerbread flavored cookies and they really actually work as gingerbread men. I have even made the big gingerbread men that are about seven inches long. The rock hard texture (when they're cool) keeps the arms and legs from coming off. This would be the perfect recipe for a gingerbread house and all its pieces. http://www.cookierecipesonline.com/gingies.htm
