Atheist News Podcast Project

Hey guys.

I probably shouldn't put this off anymore, so I'm just going to jump on it and improvise. I'm pretty sure the show is over. It was a ton of fun doing it, but with work and my son and my wife in school I simply don't have time to do it anymore.

Other folks have offered to take over but I don't really feel comfortable with that. Quit while you're ahead, sez I.

Anyhow, I payed for another year of hosting, so the archive of podcasts will be available for at least that long.

I really enjoyed podcasting, so I might do something again in the future. I'll keep you posted.

Thanks guys and gals! It was AMAZING.

Anybody else excited by astronomy?  I'm watching the transit of Venus LIVE from the Keck Observatory in Hawaii...about 4 hours left before sundown there.

I wasn't sure Susan, but it seems like most of the programming that is actually interesting and not a 'reality' show, is being cancelled.

S.B. I like your fantasy, except they do keep us on our toes. Kind of like yellow jackets. The pain, harm, delusions, and denial spread by those who want to impose their values on others is outrageous and worthy of open challenge.

Comment by Susan Stanko on May 31, 2012 at 12:54pm

I thought it was cancelled after only 2 seasons.

Thanks Jessica!

SB isn't it amazing how they turn that on and off!  Watching the God Virus videos last night I thought he pretty much summed up how powerful that virus acts upon their minds, just bringing up the topic of their religion brings about a complete change in their personality. I had to think about it, he is absolutely correct. I have found so many people whom I generally enjoy the company of, become monsters when it comes to their religious views, so much so you can't escape them soon enough and feel you need a bath afterward.

Today for instance, I was having a perfectly lovely conversation about science-fiction books with a fella in a mom and pop bookstore, when he felt the need to throw in an "As the Christians say..." I think I went completely deaf after that, I can't figure out where that came from??? It in no way fit into the conversation we were having... I can't even remember what it is he said, they say.... /blink....

Tammy, That's very scary!  Oh well, for a long time I had to deal with a jolly roly poly hippie type who wore mumu-type dresses and who was also reptilian evil inside.... I could swear at one point the human eye rolled back and I saw the reptile eye underneath..... never know.  I don't know about V being cancelled - I got it on netflex, next season not available last time I checked.

Joseph I keep trying to move but the force must not be with me! LOL My daughter lives in Raleigh though...

Oh SB, we have our lovely Anna types to be sure and just like the lovely queen, when the ugly comes out you better run! One just kept wishing us a 'blessed day' repeatedly as we shopped for books today in that plastic syrupy sweet voice that makes my skin craw....  OY vey! I kept walking around with Carl Sagan's Pale Blue Dot but of course she never noticed... or it never registered I'm not sure which... vapid, dingy woman...

Did they cancel V again?
