Atheist News Podcast Project

Hey guys.

I probably shouldn't put this off anymore, so I'm just going to jump on it and improvise. I'm pretty sure the show is over. It was a ton of fun doing it, but with work and my son and my wife in school I simply don't have time to do it anymore.

Other folks have offered to take over but I don't really feel comfortable with that. Quit while you're ahead, sez I.

Anyhow, I payed for another year of hosting, so the archive of podcasts will be available for at least that long.

I really enjoyed podcasting, so I might do something again in the future. I'll keep you posted.

Thanks guys and gals! It was AMAZING.

Love,

--Joe

Ralph Reed is acting like christians and believers are 'victims'???? There is no war on religion, only a false victimhood for political maneuvering, which is dangerously shifting the debate towards religious right wing conservatives. I don't think the word 'secular' was used once in that conv about politics and religion... hmm.

Comment by Gareth Mensah on April 9, 2012 at 2:36pm

"Faith and Freedom." Isn't that an oxymoron?

Haha @Pat, I thought the exact same thing!

"However, I think Reed is being totally disingenuous. I can't figure out why though."

Ha ha! nice sarcasm...

"entire interview is worth watching"

I recommend everybody go view that video (posted by Ralph Reed's Faith and Freedom Coalition YouTube channel) vote it thumbs down and leave a comment like I did.

Comment by Joe Tomberlin on April 9, 2012 at 9:52am

The entire interview is worth watching for more context. Cleaver certainly made a stoooopid comment that "I don't believe there is such a thing as an atheist because no respectable atheist ...", but otherwise he seems more honest with his opinion, and supportive of separation of church and state.

However, I think Reed is being totally disingenuous. I can't figure out why though.

@ MaleficVTwin I do, but only after I take a black Sharpie to that anti-American motto

Comment by MaleficVTwin on April 9, 2012 at 1:14am

No respectable atheist would walk around with something in his pocket that says 'In God We Trust'?

That man can kiss my ass. Should I choose to starve?
