Atheist News Podcast Project

Hey guys.

I probably shouldn't put this off anymore, so I'm just going to jump on it and improvise. I'm pretty sure the show is over. It was a ton of fun doing it, but with work and my son and my wife in school I simply don't have time to do it anymore.

Other folks have offered to take over but I don't really feel comfortable with that. Quit while you're ahead, sez I.

Anyhow, I payed for another year of hosting, so the archive of podcasts will be available for at least that long.

I really enjoyed podcasting, so I might do something again in the future. I'll keep you posted.

Thanks guys and gals! It was AMAZING.

Love,

--Joe

Hey SB. I say let "them" have the kids and grandkids. At least I'll know that they will be loved, and raised to be rational, thinking, caring individuals, not indoctrinated to spew a hateful, judgemental, diatribe meant to degrade, revile, and crush others. Oh wait, I just learned "them" is the gay community. Well, that changes absoloutely NOTHING! The gay community will do a better job, any day of the week, and twice on Sunday. What an asshat!

Oops.  It's "National organization...."  Freudian slip - i said "normal".

Comment by Joan Denoo on March 27, 2012 at 9:41pm

OK, if NOM wants to develop wedge issues to split people with common interests, perhaps a focusing on diversity is timely. Celebrate our differences as we work for a common good. If LBGTs, Blacks, Hispanics, Native Americans, Asians, Atheists, Agnostics, FreeThinkers, Irreligious, Naturalists, Skeptics, Secular Humanists, Spiritual Humanists, nationalities, scientists, young and old, rich and poor, educated and uneducated, and whatever else that makes one different, stood united as being non-believers, the wedge can be prevented.

Politics doesn't get much dirtier than that, does it?  Rebiblicans are desperate.  When will they finally have enough rope to hang themselves?  The sooner the better!

Comment by Sentient Biped on March 27, 2012 at 8:54pm

To avoid double posting, I'll just place a link here to the gay group discussion.  Briefly:  The antimarriage group, NOM (Normal Organisation for Marriage) was forced by the Maine court to open their internal documents; some of those documents are now published.  NOM's strategic plan was to use Black and Hispanic spokespeople as shills to speak against gay marriage - thinking then LGBT people would call Black people "bigots" and cause the fall of the Democratic party, Obama, and gay perverts.  Oops.

David, they should have the pants sued off of them.  After they are arrested for kidnapping.  Maybe they could start a prison ministry then.
