This is a good example of a horrible news headline:

"Calm and prayers help steer stricken plane back to Singapore."

The pilot did give the passengers credit, but he said:

"The best that we can ever ask of passengers is to stay cool, stay calm ... which you did. And for that we thank you."

It's funny, he failed to mention prayer, so why did Reuters have to give prayer credit?

Frankly I'm bloody sick of religion in some way, shape, or form, being in the daily news!

Like the Canadian couple who went missing in Nevada & the woman was found alive after 7 weeks, with prayers being credited!!!! Her husband hasn't yet been located after trying to go for help. Took gawd that long to decide if & when she, but not her husband should be found?????? Riiiiiiiight!!!!!!!!

Here in BC her damn pastor is on the news everyday....not her family.....even though this is a private thing, & after being rescued, should not be news.

Yep, all they need is more encouragement.
And let's not forget all the Chilean miners last year who gave thanks to God for saving them after hundreds of dedicated people had worked round the clock, employing human ingenuity and high-tec equipment to rescue them.
Exactly!!! On........& on.........& on.............

Every time some idiot news service prints a story like this one, readers should remind them that there's also stories like this one: http://www.gadling.com/2009/03/25/tunisian-pilot-who-prayed-while-c...
