Comments are disabled for all letters to the editor on that site. Which is kinda dumb considering those types of opinion pieces are usually there to stir up conversation...

It could use a follow up letter to the editor maybe, or a letter to Steve LeMay.

Well of course the bible is totally reliable as a history document. Why would someone make up a story to sell a story? Why require evidence when we can depend on the absolute altruism of the scriptural authors? And an opinion piece on the internet that says it's true and says it has lots and lots of backers?
