A Texas judge says that there is no scientific basis for creationism therefore the masters program was prohibited.

I think it is Texan politicians that are keeping their state in the stone ages. The politicians are there to represent the people' s opinions. The judge is there to examine evidence before making a decision.

Can I get an amen!?
Thank reason for a sane and at least educated at the 8th grade level Judge in Texas!
Sometimes the system DOES work! I'll second that amen.
It's not just the politicians keeping their state in the bronze age. Texas is the home of many, many fundigelical mega churches. It's all of those fundies who keep electing their politicians.

Fortunately, there's also what looks to be a very vocal Atheist minority in the state, too. Austin gave us The Atheist Experience TV show.
"creationism think tank"

Now there's an oxymoron for you. Way to go judge! I hope the appeal gets tossed out too!
