It's ironic that the man who directed the play says he wants to do it to show that Christianity is about love and acceptance, but instead he's proven the opposite.

at the end of the article I read: "Shiloh Primitive Baptist Church". Funny name huh?

about Jesus for those who don't know:
Mark 14:51-52 One of the followers of Jesus was a young, nearly naked man who dropped his linen cloth and "fled from them naked" when the priests came to arrest Jesus.
John 13:23-25 "There was leaning on Jesus' bosom one of his disciples, whom Jesus loved."
John 19:26 "The disciple standing by, whom he loved"
John 21:20 "The disciple whom Jesus loved following; which also leaned on his breast at supper"

Not to mention that John the Baptist is often depicted in paintings as Jesus closest companion and very, very effeminate. One of the main arguments over whether the figure to Jesus' right in DaVinci's last supper is Mary Magdalene; many argue no, it's just a super-girly John.

Using Xians' own 'logic' against them: Nothing in the bible specifically says Jesus was straight, therefore he must not be.

This amuses me greatly. Personally, I think the liberal Christians have the message more correct on the homosexuality issue (from a Christian POV, not mine). If homosexuality is a sin, then Jesus can forgive it just like any other sin, right? They are also taught that people should only have sex when married, so they should also be for gay marriage to "minimize" the sinning.

The conservative Christian POV that homosexuality and abortion are unforgivable has NO Biblical basis that I'm aware of.

Can you believe that someone in the comments used the word sodomites? Who on earth would actually use the word sodomite? It's sounds like crazy talk, like something my brother-in-law would say... oh... oh yeah...
