Permalink Reply by Loren Miller on June 15, 2012 at 10:17pm There is nothing that brings weight to the issue of the specious nature of belief in a god or religion than a priest or minister or rabbi who comes out and says publicly, "this is a load of crap."
If the numbers of lapsed men (and women) of the cloth continue to increase and can be mobilized, it could be that they will constitute the most formidable opponent the believers have faced to date, and it could open the discussion and debate about religion in a way it has yet to be opened.
