Freedom From Religion Foundation Commercial on CBS Evening News

For once, a commercial during a news broadcast may have been as notable as the news itself.  The Freedom From Religion Foundation aired a 30-second commercial at the third break, during the CBS Evening News with Scott Pelley.  Not an event we see very often, but in light of the Reason Rally and the seeming lack of mainstream news coverage it got, perhaps this makes up for it, if only a little.

Note to self:

…pass it on.

Trust me, if I weren't unemployed, the FFRF would be on my list, and they'd be getting a PROPER shot of cash from yours truly!

The ad was also on this Sunday's CBS Sunday Morning. Wonder if CBS is the only station that will show them?

Someone said something about its showing up on NBC as well, but I don't know details.

Loren, thank you for posting this. Fortunately, I happen to be lucky enough to be employed. FFRF just got a shot of cash from me.

Never hurts to go to the source.  Here is the story from FFRF's website on the commercial which aired both on CBS Sunday Morning, 25 March, 2012, and on the CBS Evening News of 26 March, 2012.

They should put this ad on Fox News.  They must be going insane over this, with it even being on other networks.
