Pertaining to sexual molestation of children by Catholic clergy Catholic Monsignor William Lynn has been convicted in Philadelphia of child endangerment. He was acquitted of a second such charge and of conspiracy. Per the article:
Lynn, 61, helped the archdiocese keep predators in ministry, and the public in the dark, by telling parishes their priest was being removed for health reasons, then sending the men to unsuspecting churches, prosecutors said.
Lynn was the first U.S. church official charged for allegedly helping an archdiocese cover up abuse claims.
