Baptist church holding bible burning on Halloween

Yes, you read that right.

A 14-member church has decided that only the King James version of the Bible is the true Bible, and all the others are the works of Satan. Other works of Satan included books by Rick Warren and Mother Teresa.

What do you do with Satanic books? Why, you burn them on Halloween obviously.

I wonder if the smell of burning books is as pleasing to their god as burning flesh?

I'm all for destroying bibles, but why do they have to burn them? It's such a waste unless they're using it to keep warm or to roll fat blunts. Why can't they just submit the paper from all of the heretic-bibles to be recycled and reprinted as the KJV bible?

This is a good thing. People will be outraged. There will be more infighting in the world of conservative christianity, or in christianity in general. They have demonized everyone else so the only ones left to deamonize is each other. Hopefully, more people will reconize the stupidity of religion.

Update; the church has been informed that burning books is against both state and local regulations (actually, the law refers only to burning anything other than vegetation) so the goofy preacher is now saying that he plans to chop the books up, or something. I tried to get the link from the local newsrag website, but unable to connect. I hope they go ahead with it- they would face a stiff fine if they do.
