Anti-witch-hunting crusader arrested on murder charge
Leo Igwe, executive director of the Nigerian Humanist Movement, seems to attract trouble. In recent months he's been beaten by the followers of Helen Ukpabio, an influential Evangelical Christian witch-hunter, and then sued by her for "religious discrimination". Ukpabio's church, along with many other churchs in Nigeria, identifies hundreds of children each year as "witches" and what happens to these "child-witches" after that can be pretty horrible.
Of course, opposing child witch-hunting is not the only way Leo Igwe attracts trouble... The trouble Leo has attracted now is allegedly due to his calls for justice against a well-connected man who he accuses of raping a 10-year old girl. Both he and his father have just been arrested by Nigerian police on a charge of murder.

Don't know. But now that it's been mentioned in a random blog, it qualifies as 'news' by Beck's own standards and we should be hyper-ventilating it as gawd's-honest-truth to millions of sheeple in TV land. -

Oh man... don't dig too deep into this unless you want to ruin your night. I've never thought about forming an atheist militia before but somebody needs to rescue the children at the bottom of this.
