Aww... I'm never happier than when surrounded by musicians! I always wanted to be a composer, but life and its vagaries decided otherwise. I went to art school rather than music college. However, the rise of the PC, the MIDI sequence and inexpensive sound samples has given me new creative possibilities. The future beckons!

I am a classical musician of nine years; a Euphist. I don't really have anyone to play with anymore... can't seem to find a classical group in the area that isn't religiously affiliated or part of a school I'm not attending.

Guitarist who hasn't been in a formal band, combo etc for over 40 years. A thing called the Vietnam War sort of put my musical career on hold. Haven't found the right group of musicians since.

So, is anybody else here looking for somebody to collaborate with? I write lyrics and sing, but I've been in need of a composer for years...

Greetings my non-cooperating musical friends. I play all of the low register flutes; alto, bass and contrabass (Kingma) flutes. Although I have no formal training, basically self taught, I've been at it off and on for thirty years. At the National Flute Convention in N.Y.C., I had the opportunity to meet and play an impromptu duet with Hubert Laws...we played "Amazing Grace", if you can believe that. He was very gracious and I'm glad he didn't ask me about my religious beliefs! lol!! Looking forward to talking with you folks. Peace and Critical Thinking

Greetings.
I've been in and out of bands for years playing guitar. Currently I just write and record music on my own in my small home studio.
I look forward to talking with you all.

Hi everybody. I compose music for video games and films. Looks like there is a lot of great talent here.

I'm not a performing/recording musician, but I would call myself a hobby musician. I currently play guitar (like every other hobby musician on earth), but I have played a few other instruments before I got to guitar.
