Many to whom I've spoken claimed that the Koch brothers are evil. At first it seemed like anachronistic, theistic language, unsuited to contemporary liberal minds. But I've gradually been coming around to seeing them as the embodiment of the worst humanity has to offer.
Overall, all appearances tell me that the Kochs are about themselves first and everyone else second, if others may be considered at all. The maintenance and growth of their wealth and influence seem to be their top priorities, and the consequences of their industrial activities, whether short- or long-term, faze them not in the least, for all I can see. It is conceivable that they could wreck the world's ecology with their indifference and insure that result with their pull in the US government.
It has been said that the opposite of love is not hate but a lack of empathy, which may be as close to a definition of evil, and coincidentally of the Kochs, as any of us want to get.

Well put, Loren.
