I am terrified of certain monkeys, mostly chimps, smaller monkeys are more just annoying, but if they come near me, they're going down

I have an abnormal fear of primates. I am not joking either. Baboons and gorillas literally scare the shit out of me. I have nightmares about baboons and I am terrified of the gorilla exhibits in zoos. I generally embrace all forms of life. I love roaches and spiders and snakes and lizards and bats and all the other creepy scary animals but primates.. nope, can't do it. I consider The Planet of the Apes movie(s) to be horrific. I cannot watch those movies without having nightmares. What is wrong with me?

definitely agree - once got attacked by one of the little savage beasties in Malaysia when I was a child - nasty things lol.
