This is the place to post that hilarious irreligious YouTube video, an irreverent, anti-religious cartoon, or other humorous bit of media. Posts that do not reflect an atheist/irreligious theme will be deleted. (Don't make me go Old Testament.)

Lewis Black: The Flintstones is not a documentary.

A slightly longer version of the clip that used to be here.

Heh, awesome.  As a former Catholic (while I was forced by my parents to go to mass every week), I enjoy anything that takes the Vatican down a few notches in terms of world influence.

-------------------------
Father
-------------------------

A little
boy got on the bus, sat next to a man reading a book, and
noticed he had his
collar on backwards.

The little boy asked why he wore his collar that
way. The man, who was
a  priest, said, " I am a Father."

The little
boy replied, "My Daddy doesn't wear his collar like that."

The priest
looked up from his book and answered, "I am the Father of
many."

The
boy said, "My Dad has 4 boys, 4 girls and two
grandchildren and he doesn't
wear his collar that way."

The priest, getting impatient, said, "I am
the Father of hundreds" and
went back to reading his book.

The little
boy sat quietly thinking for a while, then leaned over and
said,"Maybe you
should wear your pants backwards instead of your
collar."

Yup.  That's what it chains off of.

No worries.

Sorry...I failed to notice where/when the discussion turned to poking fun of evangelicals for their various "youth-oriented" approaches to gaining new adherents/converts.

Oh...maybe you mean the whole "Gangsta Bible" thing you started previously.

I take it as mockery of the attempts by Evangelical churches to appeal to young people.  Most of those are pretty damned sad.

It's all about context.  Racist and homophobic statements made while mocking a Klansman aren't reflective of you, when everyone knows you're mocking someone and is aware of where you really fall on the issue.

Rod,

Is there some point you're trying to make, other than just being boring and offensive?  Because I'm not getting it.

Heh, nice tool.  Yeah, it'll still involve a good deal of editing/cleanup.  Good work.

"... chicken 'n corn bread 'n waffles."  Heh heh heh heh heh heh heh.

these are two of my favorite verses

29 Then God said, “ah give you every seed-bearing plant on da face o' da whole earf an' every tree dat has fruit wif seed in it. dey will be yours fo' chickn n` corn bread 'n waffles. 30 an' ta all da beasts o' da earf an' all da birds in da sky an' all da creatures dat move along da ground—everything dat has da breaf o' life in it—ah give every green plant fo' chickn n` corn bread 'n waffles.” an' it wuz so.

31 God seen all dat he had made, an' it wuz very pimp-tight. an' dere wuz evening, an' dere wuz morning—da sixf day Ya' dig?
