This is the place to post that hilarious irreligious YouTube video, an irreverent, anti-religious cartoon, or other humorous bit of media. Posts that do not reflect an atheist/irreligious theme will be deleted. (Don't make me go Old Testament.)

Lewis Black: The Flintstones is not a documentary.

A slightly longer version of the clip that used to be here.

Yeah, Mike, if you're bi ... or even just, for whatever reason, enjoy the girl you're with sleeping with another guy ... you should be able to join into whatever marriage arrangement you find enjoyable.

Personally, I'm ultra-straight, so I'll opt for the polygamous.  I'd be all for the opposite situation, even if I wasn't simply liberal and able to cope with people doing whatever they want, sexually, as long as it's between consenting adults.  From a purely selfish perspective ... well, something's got do be done to keep all of those sexually frustrated guys happy, if I want my harem.  :-D

Yeah, the Rapture was thought up in the 1700's, apparently, judging from the Wikipedia entry on the subject.  The second coming has been around for about 1,800 or 1,900 years, though.

Even though it is a humor list, let's try to be as little bit serious - there is no way the Rapture was invented 2000 years ago, when christianity itself wasn't invented until - what, 1500 years ago? Something like that...

@Rudy: I have nothing against POLYandry :), only that my girls don't seem to be interested. One of them was called "the child of Satan" (I am not joking but it's funny... I live in Texas...) by some "priests" at her workplace. Nevertheless, there is one reason I can't technically marry her and after June 1 there will be two reasons. :).

We are on humour section so I have to throw in a joke:

A young lady came home from a date, rather sad.
She told her mother, "Jeff proposed to me an hour ago."
"Then why are you so sad?" her mother asked.
"Because he also told me he was an atheist.
Mom, he doesn`t even believe there`s a hell."
Her mother replied, "Marry him anyway.
Between the two of us, we`ll show him how wrong he is."

Hm, here would be, theoretically, the negative aspect: two mothers-in-law...

Then legalize both polygamy and polyandry.

I want everyone to be able to lead their lives anyway they want to. Having said that and after 24 years of marriage to the same woman. Are you freaking kidding me. Two women in the same house for an extended period of time. Why does a picture of the religious nuts beating themselves on the back with  whips come to mind.

I think polygamy is more an equal rights thing (if we're talking 1 man and more than one woman). As in, the man having several wives, but not allowing the wives to take other husbands.

I think there are two things happening here, for the ignorant mono LGBTs, poly is as strange as LGBT is to ignorant straights, and for the rest, it is a matter of picking which fight to fight first. (Which technically would make some of the rants of the anti-marriage fundies about gay marriage leading to polygamy correct...)

mine is simple; I'm the hinge in a V with two straight ladies. It might look like Unicorn but it isn't. I'll marry one in this June 1st but why am I not allowed to marry both? Religious parasitic memes.

Why LGBT doesn't fight for this? Because "we have chosen to be poly but they didn't choose to be gay". It's the "choice" thing. Can you choose to love only a certain number of people? Anyway, this is the argument: we chose this life style.

I guess this is because the "judeo-christian values" are prevalent in western societies. I think it's silly. By the way:

The religious aspect is secondary but it is still funny. "My husband died. As his brother, Onan, it's your duty to give me a baby." :)
