Atheist Humor

This is the place to post that hilarious irreligious YouTube video, an irreverent, anti-religious cartoon, or other humorous bit of media. Posts that do not reflect an atheist/irreligious theme will be deleted. (Don't make me go Old Testament.)

Lewis Black: The Flintstones is not a documentary.

A slightly longer version of the clip that used to be here.

And if you are going through a really rough time and need some help... When you ask god for help... when he doesn't answer (like that's even possible), and you have to work it out yourself... you need to thank god for teaching you to be strong on your own. You can't even feel good about bailing yourself out - it was all god's doing ultimately.

How about being told that anything positive or good you ever do or accomplish is because god is working through you?  Don't take credit for that time you helped that old lady across the street.  It was god.  You remain a dirty, worthless sinner.

Some are sincere. Some are just malicious bastards who get a sick thrill by telling people they're going to hell.

I could never deal with the idea that a newborn is a 'sinner', or anyone who wasn't mor(m)on was going to hell. If taking your first breath means sinner, then they can shove it where the sun don't shine.

They are trying to piss people off in the guise of moving them to join thier cause. They same way they attempt to fight against reason by the all-so-Christian means of violent murder.

These people are doing God's work by trying to protect me from God's wrath when he supposedly made me to be human? Do these displays "move" people to join their cause? Are they just trying to piss people off?

That's kind of the point, yeah. You've got to convince someone that he's a worthless piece of shit, before you can get him to come to you for redemption. What better way than to incorporate worthlessness into the very basic nature of his existence. It casts a wide net without having to tailor it to each candidate for manipulation.

Looks to me like it's a sin just to be human.

Other than the part about "Sports" "Witches" and "Thieves," that's pretty much my resume.

The guarantee is no good since we didn't buy the extended warranty. This is an effective anti-religion billboard if I ever saw one.
