Atheist Humor

This is the place to post that hilarious irreligious YouTube video, an irreverent, anti-religious cartoon, or other humorous bit of media. Posts that do not reflect an atheist/irreligious theme will be deleted. (Don't make me go Old Testament.)

Lewis Black: The Flintstones is not a documentary.

A slightly longer version of the clip that used to be here.

True, but I like it anyway.

I got the idea this graph refected that it was mostly not the atheists who did the criminal stuff.

Do you have a version of that chart showing the percentages normalized against the different religions in the GENERAL population?

You know, since atheists only represent 20% (or whatever it is these days) of the general population, they are actually 0.409% of the prison population, measured against general numbers...that sort of thing.

OK, changing the subject back to something humorous, during a debate Mitt Romney referenced the Seinfeld character George Costanza.  How fitting, a show about nothing refenced by a candidate who can offer us nothing.

It was only tonight that I came across the Mormon Church's 'Official Position' on the proxy baptisms of Holocaust victims (and survivors, in the case of Elie Wiesel).  According to a recent official statement (dated yesterday), they forbid it and take 'disciplinary action' against those who violate that policy.

Two things about the Holocaust baptisms.  One: Why?  Two: Someone call Bill Maher and tell him to get out his wizarding hat and magic wand.  He's got a helluva lot of work to do.
