Atheist Humor

This is the place to post that hilarious irreligious YouTube video, an irreverent, anti-religious cartoon, or other humorous bit of media. Posts that do not reflect an atheist/irreligious theme will be deleted. (Don't make me go Old Testament.)

Same deal with bacon.  It used to be a throw away part and now it's considered one of the best tasting foods.  I think that's why the Hebrews were forbidden to eat it.  This food of the gods was too good for mere mortals.

@ Sandi: Have you noticed how expensive "soul food" has become? Especially ribs?

I love making things like Split Pea and/or 16-Bean Soup, and a vital ingredient in both is ham hocks...I can rarely find them in the stores anymore, and when I do, they're not cheap.  These are parts that white folks used to throw away because they considered them too low-class to eat.  I iz a white folk, and I love that stuff!  (Though you would have to strap me to a gurney and sedate me to get me to eat escargot....or squid, aka "calamari."  Ew.)

OOPS!  forgot to add that there's no way I could pay for premium gasoline.  I don't have a soul.  (Neither does anybody else, but that's their problem.)

Re: Flush Limpballs...ewwww.  (LOL!)

Re: Chevron...I'm glad I stopped driving last year.  The main reason was that my vision is going bye-bye, but I also couldn't afford the smog check, the repairs necessary to pass the effing smog check, and the license renewal fee on a 40-year-old car.  (I dread to think what people with newer cars have to pay...)

So, I'm saving about $700 a year on the insurance premiums I don't have to pay anymore, and can afford public transportation or a taxi if I absolutely need to go someplace.  I haven't figured out exactly how much I'm saving on gasoline and maintenance, but it's considerable.
