Atheist Humor

This is the place to post that hilarious irreligious YouTube video, an irreverent, anti-religious cartoon, or other humorous bit of media. Posts that do not reflect an atheist/irreligious theme will be deleted. (Don't make me go Old Testament.)

Lewis Black: The Flintstones is not a documentary.

A slightly longer version of the clip that used to be here.

Hope they write this about me.

"Here lies atheist Pat,

During his life,

Upon religion he shat."

Greg LeGore, Any dry wine & I lean towards the Italian, or from my home province of BC. As for pizza.....my own home made with lots of pepperoni, green pepper, onions, mushrooms, black olives, sauce & cheeses.

Patricia, which wines and pizzas?  I vote for Pinot or Malbec with a vegetable flatbread.

See Dan Barker's book The GOOD Atheist.  Among other things, he lists and describes a greaat number of atheists who have contributed amazing things to our culture...from authors, to musicians and composers, to scientists, etc.

There is no purpose to life; it's up to each of us to create our own individual purpose in life.  My main "purpose" used to be to entertain people, and when that became physically impossible I got into helping abandoned pets find Forever Homes.

But I still love to make people laugh whenever I can...I'm just not in the mood for it today.  Sorry.

"The thing is, when you ask a religious person what the "purpose" is in their God-centric universe, there really isn't one there, either."

Not that I'd ask them, …but it's often asserted by theists, erroneously, that atheism means life has no purpose. My reply to that one is either; similar to Dr. Watson's below or, "I'm too busy doing so many important things to worry about make-believe purposes…"

More often than not they open their mouth to voice a come-back and nothing comes out, …just slack jawed stun. Then they avoid me.
