This is the place to post that hilarious irreligious YouTube video, an irreverent, anti-religious cartoon, or other humorous bit of media. Posts that do not reflect an atheist/irreligious theme will be deleted. (Don't make me go Old Testament.)

"...stood across the street and prayed." [while the church burned]
I wonder which did more good, the prayers or the firefighters.
Comment by Joseph P on January 19, 2012 at 10:08pm Sadly, I think some of them do. At the very least, most people make major decisions like this for emotional reasons.

When the food supply expands, so does the number of hungry mouths. Always.
Comment by Dee Neely on January 19, 2012 at 7:57pm Evidently someone didn't find my question appropriate. There was a fire at a local church. I was curious about which immoral act the churchgoers had committed. We all know that disasters are the result of people making god angry, but I guess that doesn't count when its a church.
Fire reported at Tabernacle Baptist Church in East Knoxville.
It may not be funny. I thought it was funny. Good for the goose and the gander, don't ya know.
Comment by TNT666 on January 19, 2012 at 1:20pm I'm a biologist and have never seen that picture of the guy in the grain... but if it's a geneticist in any way related to the Green Revolution... in reality... the Green Revolution has caused starvation by disempowering and disenfranchising local populations and participating in worldwide unequal distribution of food... so... I'm not laughing.
A liberal Christian buddy of mine posted the video "Sh*t people say to ministers" on Facebook. Here is my response.
@Sandi: Bravo!
