Atheist Humor

This is the place to post that hilarious irreligious YouTube video, an irreverent, anti-religious cartoon, or other humorous bit of media. Posts that do not reflect an atheist/irreligious theme will be deleted. (Don't make me go Old Testament.)

Lewis Black: The Flintstones is not a documentary.

A slightly longer version of the clip that used to be here.

Christmas lights remind me of politicians.  They all hang together, half of them don't work, and the ones that do aren't too bright.

Here is a good start...

A video done by shockofgod is used as an argument against atheism here.

The funny thing is, I know exactly where the shockofgod guy is riding his motorcycle in the video, which, I have to add, is a great way to make a YouTube video: reading a pad of paper in your hand while riding a motorcycle and recording a video.

Here are a few good places to look on YouTube:

Oh man, I've been had! That is hilarious! And a slight relief. But as many of you know, many creationists really are that dumb and will make similar arguments. None of us should feel bad...

"Poe's law, named after its author Nathan Poe, is an Internet adage reflecting the fact that without a clear indication of the author's intent, it is difficult or impossible to tell the difference between sincere extremism and an exaggerated parody of extremism."

But in all seriousness, I am certain if we tried we could find the real deal and just as stupid. I know I have seen reasoning that bad before. LIkely on YouTube. :)

Micah...can you provide a link to that serious site using a satirical site as a basis for their discussions?  It reminds me of the Onion and Harry Potter, from way back when!

I'm afraid that there are people out there that may be funnier than we.

@Joseph P, I know exactly what you mean. I got it from Heather Henderson, she is part of the Ardent Atheist podcast.

I thought, surely this is satire. So I did a quick search and actually found a forum where it was being discussed...amongst Christians. They really think it is perfectly logical and defend it...using logic! Illogic, but logic. They are pretty mean too. Calling people who point out various flaws "retard". They get pretty vicious.

With the average human output of Urine in 24 hours at 800 ml (we'll be good to the xtians and use the lower value) and given the age of Jesus at his death 33 from the Bible there was approximately 9,636 liters of holy urine.  Spread equally though all of the oceans of the world, every liter of water has approximately 232,209,523 Molecules (Give or take a molecule for rounding;) of water that has passed through the holy one's holy member.  That should be enough to cure any ailment.  I wonder how much holy sweat we drink in a liter?
