Atheist Humor

This is the place to post that hilarious irreligious YouTube video, an irreverent, anti-religious cartoon, or other humorous bit of media. Posts that do not reflect an atheist/irreligious theme will be deleted. (Don't make me go Old Testament.)

Thanks Mutt13.  I needed that.  I've seen it before, but with all the "Happy Easter" crap I've seen all over today, it was refreshing.

"Nowhere in the bible does jesus have a sword fight."  There can be only one!

This takes a while to read, butt it had me on the floor laughing.  I had to take a break between emails.

"

That's not what I find weird though, or suspicious rather, that Christmas is exact - every Dec 25th - but Easter is a random pin in a map.

If I was appropriating Pagan holidays to become time to celebrate the birth and death/resurrection of my lord, I wouldn't pick one that shifted every year."

To be fair, Easter predates the current calendar by quite a bit, so the way it is determined does stay the same each year, it is just where it corresponds to our calendar now that shifts. Christmas is a just a more recent version of the holiday that celebrates the Sun's birth, so it more easily adapted to the changes in the calendar.

Funny Easter Ecard: If not for Halloween, Easter would be my favorite zombie-related holiday.

Which still doesn't make direct sense, in any way that a normal person would phrase it.  They probably screwed something up in a translation somewhere.
