Atheist Humor

This is the place to post that hilarious irreligious YouTube video, an irreverent, anti-religious cartoon, or other humorous bit of media. Posts that do not reflect an atheist/irreligious theme will be deleted. (Don't make me go Old Testament.)

@Nick

You think that's worse than the father-daughter purity rings they exchange at those twisted ceremonies?  That's some fucked up imagery right there.

I was told as a mor(m)on child that Mary was carried up to gawd in a cloud!

Yeah, why would anyone want that, though? It's gross...who wants their lady-friend to bleed during sex? That's some kinky shit right there.

The original word could have meant either virgin or young woman.

I actually did know that... It's just a was recently having a rather heated discussion with a Pentecostal acquaintance regarding Mary's supposed abstinence. And her lack of insight, and refusal to look at any source other than the KJV translation bothered me, as if it was the only interpretation. ANYHOW... I did know about the mistranslation, and actually attempted to use that very argument. Didn't work, but I suppose if reason would work as an argument... she wouldn't be religious in the first place. lol
