Thanks for the invitation! I am the CFO & Controller for a medium size sales and marketing company. I am the only atheist in the company. I am open about my unbelief and no one else seems to care.

Yes, I agree with Nate. Here in western N.C. you can't throw a rock that won't bounce off a church. Most of my customers and associates are religious, some moderate and some to the extreme. Being discreet is important, but when I meet another freethinker, it gives me hope. Clair

Thanks for the invitation, Dr Peter. I am self-employed and though not at all ashamed of my atheism, I must be discreet about it as many of my customers/potential customers are quite religious. I have met and had wonderful conversations with some freethinkers in the course of my business activity. As we find ourselves in a rather conservative area, it's always nice to see that we're not alone.

I think the area of the workplace and business often rates little mention in the whole Theist thing.

Glad to have a place we can contribute to thoughts on the topic.
