Wow, riding up thru north Georgia doing the twisties up to Hiawassee was fun. My wife and I rode for 8 hours becomming tired and hungry. Our hotel was wonderful. Dave's Steak House was within walking distance so we went in. Low and behold it was all Jesus themed. We were "eyeballed" by the locals because of our biker wear. The food and service was good so the "atheist invaders" ate well. Luckily no one knew what the 'atheist atoms' on my helmet and saddlebag were.

I sometimes wear the customary leather vest with the HOG Miami logo on the back but a closer look reveals the American Atheists and Freedom From Religion Foundation patches on the right rear side. My do-rag has a gold Atheist atom pin on the tail .
We as Atheists need to have the courage of our convictions and advertise our lack of belief. Could it end up in confrontations ? It has and it will. But backing down is not an option.

I have yet to figure out why all these godly bikers have to dress the same! REmends my of that Southpark episode about biker want attention.

Fred, I understand! We have several "biker churches" here in Arkansas. The "riding for the lord" patches are everywhere. I ride alone.

Hello to all. Let me introduce myself... I'm one of the founding members of Florida Atheists and Secular Humanists.< FL.A.S.H. > Of the 5 Meetup communities we have there are only 3 riders but we are always looking for others when we get new members.
I just traded my '03 Road Glide with 75,000 miles on it for a 2011 Road Glide Ultra. For fun I ride as a preforming member of Miami Harley Davidson's Precision Thunder Drill Team. For work, I am a Firefighter/Paramedic who trained to ride as a motorcycle medic.
There is an American Atheist "atom" in white 3M reflective tape on the back of my black helmet and another on one of my saddlebags which has generated some interesting conversations.
I'm glad to see a groups like these and hope I get to meet some of you.
