Clever Grinning Cat!

I was wondering why we didn't get one of those flyers; we certainly buy a lot of litter.  But then I read the article, and saw that he client was a Vancouver company.  Oh, well.

I used to have an e-friend who had a catnip plantation just outside Vancouver in the Fraser River valley, but she gave it up to move closer to town so she could raise children instead.  T'was top quality organic catnip...good for cats, and as a tisane for humans, too. Tasted a LOT better than chamomile, and had the same calming effects.

Real-life "catvertising": a kitty litter company actually sprayed their junk mail with catnip concentrate! Cats noticed... leading their humans to take notice as well. (As seen in Adweek)

Felaine, nice story about the pet's only apartments.  Reminds me of one of my favorite movies, "Babe: Pig in the City".

Something unusual, an apartment building that ONLY rents to people with pets:

Of course vacancies are very rare.

LOL Ruth!  That looks like my Dale.  I don't have anywhere to put plants even if I could.  I like them though!  I like cats in the house better!

Cactus may be cat proof, but it won't protect anything they want growing next to it.

I had a cactus and catnip growing in the same pot.  When the catnip died, I put the pot outside, and the cats shredded the dead catnip down to some of the roots, even where it was growing right next to the cactus.

They must have got nailed with a cactus spine once in a while, but that didn't stop them.
