Loren, while Pumpkin was cuddled next to me under the covers this morning, he said to send you this especially from him:

{{{{{{{{{PurrrrrLorenPurrrr}}}}}}}}  Repeat as needed.

I'm also sending this to everyone who needs some unconditional warmth and love.  That's ALL of us!

Oh, Loren,,,NOHHHHH!  I dunno what to say.  I still miss poor old Jerry Cat, and it's been almost a year.  Pumpkin has become closer to me since Jerry left us, but it's not the same.  Each one is a unique individual...

Loren, I'm so sorry to hear about Munchkin and Boo-kitty. Coincidentally, yours is the second story like this have heard in the past few months. I don't if you're familiar with The Blog of Otis (it was one of the first blogs I followed after beginning my own blog on WordPress); but even I cried over the loss of two of their cats, Leader Otis: Spring 2006 – October 28, 2013 and We Have Lost Mama Cat, about a month later. The loss of a pet is never an easy process. You have my deepest condolences.

Loren, such sad news. Yes, you are damned lucky to have loved ones, human and feline, to comfort you. At the same time, your losses weigh heavy on you. Thinking of you my dear friend.

Aw Loren......

Comment by Loren Miller on January 12, 2014 at 3:01pm

Thank you, Chris.  I suppose I'm okay, mas a menas, but I'm going to miss Boo a lot.  Still, I just texted my daughter: "As long as I have a loving wife, three wonderful cats and a very neat daughter, I count myself as being very damned lucky" ... and I won't flinch from that statement.

Comment by Plinius on January 12, 2014 at 2:04pm

O no, Loren! What a horrible day for you. I'm so sorry for you.

Comment by Loren Miller on January 12, 2014 at 1:48pm

I don't believe this.  It was bad enough to lose Munchkin at a range of about 500 miles yesterday (my ex in North Carolina had to deal with that).  This morning we - my wife and I - lost our Boo-kitty ... and she was laying in my lap as the vet took care of her not a half an hour ago.

I may write about her later.  Suffice to say, this sucks.
