My cat Lula, who sleeps with me, will eat weird things if I am eating in bed and reading (not good to do, I know.)  Things like oatmeal cookies, or bread.

Patricia....Please never give grapes to a dog again.  Or raisins.  They are both highly toxic, can cause kidney failure within a few hours.

There are so many things that are good for people, but dangerous for pets.  I remember about 30 years ago there was a dog food made from avocados on the market, Avo-Derm, that was supposed to be good for skin and fur.  Now the word is that avocados are toxic for dogs, too.

I stopped feeding my cats anything fishy about 20+ years ago because it's not healthy for them....especially red-meat fish (albacore/tuna scraps and salmon.)  Those cause kidney failure, too.

Kiri is really beautiful! It's a pity the tortoise shells I have met never had time for me.

Patricia, Kiri is a beautiful cat. Does that color and pattern have a name?

I just had to go on a search for corn eating cats, I haven't seen any before Patricia's contribution.

Patricia, this corn eating cat is a treasure!

Awwww, Dido and Kiri are both beautiful!
I really want a kitten, but ever since our dog, Molly, died, Lula, our 12-year-old cat, has been staying upstairs and socializing more! I think it was just too much commotion for her before.

I couldn't stand to watch all of" you shall not pass".  Poor dogs.
