It also looks more "cute" than other Egyptian cat statues.

I think of it as more lifelike, while other cat statues were more stylized.

Very of interest. I'm an Atheist in all other areas ... except when it comes to my cats. I'm fairly certain they are truly deities.

Or at least demons. }>

I do love that some cultures saw fit to elevate the almighty feline to such a status. Finally, a religion that makes a tiny amount of logical sense!
